Level I Coaches Course in Dominican Republic

HIGUEY, Dominican Republic, May 4, 2017 – A Level I Coaches Course successfully concluded in Higuey, Dominican Republic under the auspices of the NORCECA/FIVB Regional Development Center in Santo Domingo.

The course had a duration of 40 hours and was directed by instructors Jonas Tayson and Alberto Capellan who both are certified FIVB Level III Coaches.

Coaches from the different municipalities of the province took part in the course promoted by the Dominican Republic Volleyball National Federation.

“It was a very productive course as the national federation continues with its plan of popularizing the sport of volleyball covering every corner of the country,” Tayson said. “We had many physical education teachers in attendance which is an important ingredient for the expansion of the game among students at a tender age.”
