				TORONTO, Canada, July 23, 2015 – Angela Leyva recorded a 
				tournament-high 25 points to lead Peru to a five-set 3-2 (22-25, 
				26-24, 17-25, 25-21, 15-13) victory over host Canada in the 
				match for the seventh position at the women’s volleyball 
				tournament of the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto.   
				
				The 18-year-old Peruvian received considerable offensive support 
				from teammates Maguilaura Frias and Gina Lopez who finished with 
				18 and 11 points, respectively.   
				
				Tabitha Lopez was the best offensive Canadian with 18 points, 
				followed by Kyla Richey with 15, Jaime Thibault with 13 and 
				Lucille Charuk with 12 points.   
				
				Canada held the advantage in the blocking category 13-8 with 
				Thibault and Charuk each scoring four blocks. Peru’s Lopez had 
				six of the eight total blocks by the winners.   
				
				Canada committed 34 errors, two more than Peru, while the 
				winners held the advantage in serving aces 7-4 and trailed in 
				attacks 56-59. |
