BOGOTA, Colombia, March 11, 2021 – Dr. Rafael
Lloreda Currea, president of the South American
Volleyball Confederation (CSV) has been
re-elected as treasurer of the Colombian Olympic
Committee during the elections that took place
on Wednesday March 10 in Bogota.
Lloreda Currea who is also member of the
Executive Committee and Board of Administration
of FIVB was part of the proposal led by Ciro
Solano Hurtado who was elected president by the
unanimous support of 51 associations and members
with voting rights.
Lloreda Currea has been president of the Pan
American Volleyball Union (UPV) while Solano
Hurtado is the current second executive vice
president of Centro Caribe Sports, the regional
sports organization formerly named CACSO.
During his long association with volleyball,
Lloreda Currea has presided over the Colombian
Volleyball Federation and has been member of the
Control Committee of the Volleyball Pan American
Cups at different levels and also in Pan
American and Central American and Caribbean
Games. |
