Luke Harrison Named MVP of the Men’s U23 Pan American Cup
GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala, August 3, 2025.- Setter Luke Harrison
Ramírez of the Dominican Republic was named the Most Valuable Player
of the 2025 Men’s U23 Pan American Cup, held from July 29 to August
3 at the Domo Polideportivo in Guatemala City, where the Dominican
Republic claimed the gold medal with an undefeated run.
Other award recipients from the champion team included Adrián José
Figueroa, who earned two honors: Best Opposite and Best Scorer;
Moisés Alexander Ortiz as Second Best Blocker; and Melvin de Jesús
as Best Server.
From the silver medalist United States, Cameron Thorne received the
Best Blocker award, while Nathan Flayter was recognized as Best
Setter.
Carlos Eduardo Beroes of Venezuela earned the First Best Spiker
award, and Elezar Mejía of Belize was named Second Best Spiker.
Oswaldo Chacón of Costa Rica was awarded Best Receiver.
Both the Best Libero and Best Digger honors went to Roberto Benschop
of Suriname. |
