Manzanillo, Heart of the Mexican Pacific,

to Host Sixth Stop of the NORCECA Beach Tour

MANZANILLO, Colima, August 27, 2025. – Manzanillo is ready to welcome the Sixth Stop of the 2025 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour, scheduled for August 29-31 at the renowned Playa Azul, located next to Plaza Punto Bahía.

The event will feature the best beach volleyball duos from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean, offering fans a vibrant seaside atmosphere combined with high-level competition.

11 women’s teams and 15 men’s teams from the United States, Canada, Guatemala, Venezuela, Trinidad & Tobago, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, El Salvador, and host Mexico are registered to compete.

The official team entries will be confirmed during the general technical meeting, held one day prior to the start of the competition.

Speaking about the local teams, Susana Torres and Atenas Gutiérrez stand out, winners of the gold medal at the previous stop in Paramaribo, Suriname, and with four silver medals this season. Jorman Osuna, who will team up with José Cardenas; this year Osuna has won a gold medal and a bronze alongside Miguel Sarabia. The pair Lares/Carlos Andrés have one gold medal and one silver.

The stunning backdrop of the Mexican Pacific, Manzanillo, promises an international sporting spectacle of high level of play.
