SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, March 30,
2022 - The NORCECA Marketing Commission held its
regular meeting virtually, welcoming the return
of both beach and beach volleyball competitions
for the year 2022.
For approximately two and a half hours, the
members analyzed the current market situation
after the Covid-19 pandemic and assured that at
least nine indoor events will be on television
this year, offering an attractive product for
potential sponsors.
The president of the Commission, Carlos Beltrán,
shared marketing experiences with the other
members so it can be of benefit for the
organizers of the competitions.
He also referred to the potential of beach
volleyball and the great future that this sport
has for most of the NORCECA countries, including
their aspirations to reach the Olympic Games.
The members of the Commission reviewed the
entire calendar of indoor competitions and on
the beach volleyball it was notorious that three
Tour events will take place in the Dominican
Republic.
Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, president of NORCECA,
referred to the success of the last four women's
events held in Santo Domingo due to great
marketing work and the high popularity of the
Dominican National Team, which has become a
country brand.
Beltrán commented on the importance of the
Marketing Commission and the Press Commission
working together in order to unite efforts in
favor of the image of the institution and its
events.
In addition, the role of Social Media and their
importance in the world of modern communication
was analyzed highlighting the immediacy with
which they reach the public, especially the
young community. |
