everything we’ve learned here and decided to close big, leaving
all we got in the court” she concluded.
Honduras’ captain Eloisa Sarmiento indicated “our attackers were
more effective in the second set, but we had difficulties with
our passing and our defense; Belize played with full energy
while we came out short”.
“I am more satisfied, the team played together and we were
prepared for Honduras to defend well but we weakened them with
our attackers who did a great job” said coach Jose Reyes.
Coach Marco Tejada made a final evaluation of his team by saying
“the team had to many ups and downs, we need more mental
disposition, more decision and more braveness. Maurissa Williams
was too much for us, she is a splendid attacker. As this
category is the base of our senior team we need to look for
players with more height to have better results to reduce our
other deficiencies”. |
