SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, April 19,
2022 – The men’s semifinals of the Santo Domingo
Qualifier to the FIVB Beach Volleyball World
Championship will be played next Saturday in
Aguascalientes, Mexico during the first stage of
the 2022 NORCECA Tour.
The winners of these matches will get automatic
tickets to the event in Rome, Italy according
the regulations.
The men’s semifinals had to be cancelled due to
prolonged rainstorms in the area of Santo
Domingo on Sunday evening.
Cubans Noslen Diaz and Jorge Luis Alayo play
against Mexicans Gabriel Cruz and Isaias Aguirre
in the first semifinal while USA’s Taylor Crabb
and Taylor Sander face Kevin Rodriguez and Juan
Ribas of Puerto Rico.
The NORCECA Confederation will cover the travel,
accommodation and food expenses of the couples
participating in these semifinals. |
