Mexican Azair to direct course in Santo Domingo

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, March 7, 2018 – The Dominican Volleyball Federation in collaboration with the NORCECA/FIVB Regional Development Center is hosting a Level III National Volleyball Course.

Mexican Jorge Azair, technical director of Mexican national teams will be addressing the course assisted by Wilson Sanchez of Dominican Republic, assistant coach of the Dominican Female program.

The opening ceremony will take place on Friday at 10:30 in the presence of Ramon García, president of the Federation, the minister of Sports Danilo Díaz, the president of the Ollympic Committee Luis Mejia Oviedo and the president of NORCECA Confederation Cristobal Marte Hoffiz.

Nelson Ramírez, director of the Center, said that 65 coaches hailing from all over the country have registered to participate in the course.

The coaches course marks the start of the capacitation program of the year organized by the local federation.

The next activity is a National Course Level III for Referees, Line Judges and Score Keepers under the direction of Dennis Céspedes and Salvador Bautista, both from the Dominican Republic.
