Rafael Petry, coach of
Mexico: We
knew that the game was very important for both
teams because of the issue of seeking
classification against the teams that are part
of the event. We had many ups and downs during
the match and we had to focus more on the
defense that we had already worked on in
practice, luckily we were able to adjust that in
the tiebreak and that gave us the win.
Jorge Sosa, Coach of Cuba: Mexico
beats us in the middle game, they know how to
play without the ball, we have to educate
ourselves on that. The problem today was not the
opposite, it was us who stopped doing especially
in the game in the mesh, one of the strengths of
this team is the attack through the middle and
that did not work today due to the reception
that unfortunately we received today failed.
