Grecia Castro, captain of Mexico:
“I believe we did a good team effort,
technically and tactically. Today we started
with a good attitude, we had goals in the score
and we reached them; we are really happy for
that. Tomorrow we go against the home team, it’s
a highly anticipated match, and both teams don’t
give up easily”.
Cabriella Bouterse, captain of Suriname:
“I think it took a little bit too long for us to
start playing; eventually we got it together and
started to play. I would say we are still in a
learning process and adding that we’re not used
to playing in front of a big crowd. We finished
the preliminary round and I expect much more
effort from the whole team”. |
