Alejandra Segura, outstanding player of Mexico: "It is important
for us to close the tournament like this, with a victory, we
needed this as a team to cheer us up. There are two important
tournaments, including the Olympic qualifier that is in August
and we have to get the best out of ourselves, see what we fail
and improve. "
Claudio Torres, coach of Mexico: "Today we put into practice
what we did not do in the rest of the tournament, get more
quality, that means having more opportunity in blocking, defense
... We did not suffer because we had a young team in front, but
that is the recipe to keep us on the play. "
"The young players played calm, calm, they did quite well,
that's why it's important to give them all the chance." |
