Mexico claim a warm victory despite a foggy last match

“It was our first match, we did not get into rhythm  it was difficult for us,” said Kelly Ann Billingy, captain of Trinidad and Tobago. “I have just arrived three days ago, I have started my process of adaptation, but I am so glad to report here with my national team,” said Seomara Sainz, after her arrival from Germany.

 

“We have arrived and set our mind for a good competition and why not, looking for the gold medal”, said Mexican captain, Andrea Rangel.

 

“I’m not very happy, I want to congratulate Mexico for this victory, Mexico is a team we like to play and get a lot of experience”, stated Drakes Nicholson, coach of Trinidad and Tobago.

 

“We are a very calmed. First match means a lot of anxiety. Before this one, the girls were a little bit nervous, but we have worked mentally and are so happy to start witn a win,” Mexican coach Jorge Azair exposed.
