Congratulations to Mexico. We are here to learn from our
defeats. There were also some little details that made a
difference. We expect another nice match tomorrow and also give
our best”, stated Humberto Machacón of Colombia.
“Congratulations for Colombia. We wish them the best of lucks in
their next match. I did not participate today, but the boys had
an excelent performance. They showed a great attitude,” said
Carlos Guerra, captain of Mexico.
“I congratulate Mexico for being a deserved winner. It was a
very tight match. Incidences were decided by 1 or 2 mistakes.
You have to be careful in this kind of matches where a ball
makes the difference, and this happened through the different
sets. It was a nice and vibrating match,” Daniel Moine, coach of
Colombia, stated.
“I keep positive things about this match. There is a flavor of
victory that remains after just one or two little points of
difference, but there are still some things to improve and move
on. Machacon was a great player that really charged Colombia on
his shoulders, and the match became tough,” Ivan Contreras coach
of Mexico remarked. |
