Mexico prevails over Puerto Rico

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, August 24, 2023.- The Mexican team prevailed in straight sets against the Puerto Rican team 3-0 (25-12, 25-15, 25-11) within the framework of the third edition of the NORCECA Final Six Pan American Cup.

Mexico got its second victory to put its record at 2-1, while Puerto Rico remains winless with a negative record of 0-3.

For the winners, Karen Rivera added 13 points, María Rodríguez and Grecia Castro added 12 each, while Karina Gamez finished with 10. For Puerto Rico, the best was Sofía Vega with 6 points.
