Closes a Remarkable 2025 with Vision Firmly Set on a Demanding 2026
SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, December 19, 2025. – The 2025

matters, followed by comprehensive reports from NORCECA and its
Zonal Associations, all highlighting sustained growth, expanded
competition calendars, and strengthened governance structures
throughout the region.
A
Year of Growth and Alignment
The
NORCECA 2025 Activities Report showcased a packed calendar of
competitions, development programs and institutional advances. Among
key highlights, the NCVA (North and Central Volleyball Association)
reported a milestone achievement on December 5, when it was
officially recognized by the FIVB as a fully aligned association
under international regulations.
Reports from the Zonal Associations reflected steady progress.
Financial Strength and Forward Planning

Finance Commission presented a solid financial overview, with the
2024 Financial Report and 2024 NORCECA Financial Statements

including sport equipment programs and development activities.
Commission Proposals Shape the Future

wide range of commission proposals were thoroughly discussed and
unanimously approved by the Board of Administration, clearing the
way for their implementation throughout 2026. These proposals were
the result of in-depth analysis and strategic discussions conducted
during each Commission’s meetings held earlier in the year,
reflecting a coordinated and forward-looking approach. Their
approval reinforces NORCECA’s commitment to strengthening
governance, enhancing development programs, modernizing operations,
and ensuring continued growth and excellence across all volleyball
disciplines in the region.
The
meeting also highlighted the FIVB Volleyball Empowerment Program as
a crucial pillar of support throughout 2025, with continued benefits
expected for NORCECA and its Zonal Associations in the years ahead.
Additionally, a proposal was approved to hold the NORCECA 2026
Congress virtually in July.
