NORCECA Teams Confirmed for 2025
Beach Volleyball World Championships
SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, September 24, 2025. – The FIVB
Beach Volleyball Department has confirmed the NORCECA Continental
quotas for the 2025 Beach Volleyball World Championship, set to take
place in Adelaide, Australia, from November 14 to 23.
The NORCECA berths were determined through the Continental World
Championship Qualifier Tournament, held in Punta Cana, Dominican
Republic, from September 19 to 21.
In the men’s competition, the duo of Miles Partain/Andrew Benesh
(USA) is expected to qualify via the FIVB entry ranking, with
official confirmation from FIVB scheduled for October 6. Should this
be confirmed, the NORCECA quota from the qualifier would be
allocated to Damian Gomez/Eblis Veranes of Cuba. They will join the
already qualified teams of Samuel Schachter/Jonathan Pickett
(Canada), Cristian Encarnación/Diego Rosich (Puerto Rico), and Rubén
Mora/Dany López (Nicaragua).
On the women’s side, the teams earning NORCECA slots are: Marie-Alex
Bélanger/Lea Monkhouse (Canada), María González/Allanis Navas
(Puerto Rico), Yari Cleto/Julibeth Payano (Dominican Republic) and
Susana Torres/Atenas Gutiérrez (Mexico)
These teams will proudly represent NORCECA at the World
Championships, competing against the best in the world on the sands
of Adelaide. |
