NORCECA U21 Men’s Championship Set to Begin in Nogales
NOGALES, Mexico, June 9, 2024. - NORCECA and the organizing committee of
the NORCECA U21 Men’s Continental Championship conducted several
inspections ahead of the competition set to start on Tuesday, June 11.
In a joint effort, the Mexican Volleyball Federation, the Municipal
Sports Institute of Nogales, and the Government of the City of Nogales
welcomed the NORCECA Control Committee members to carry out the
inspection of the competition hall, Carlos Hernández Gymnasium.
The Director of Competition, Alberto Arreola, led the inspections to
ensure that all facilities meet the competition regulations established
by the NORCECA Volleyball Confederation.

The NORCECA U21 Men’s Continental Championship is part of the
qualification system for the 2025 FIVB U21 World Championship.
The 2024 edition will feature eight teams divided into two groups: Group
A includes Nicaragua, Mexico, Suriname, and the United States; while
Group B consists of Canada, Cuba, Guatemala, and Puerto Rico.
The top team from each group will advance directly to the semifinals,
scheduled for Saturday, June 15, while the second and third-place teams
will compete in the quarterfinals to complete the semifinal lineup.
