NORCECA Vice President awards champions in Puerto Rico

 

TOA BAJA, Puerto Rico, November 14, 2019 – NORCECA Vice President Carlos J. Beltrán took part in the awarding ceremony of the School National Volleyball Championship organized by the APV Foundation.

 

Beltran also attended the final matches of the Senior and Junior categories in both genders.

 

The Disciples of Christ Academy won the boys division with a 2-1 (25-17, 25-27, 15-11) victory over St Mary’s School of Cupey, while San Felipe College of Arecibo won the girls division after a 2-1 (25-21, 25-27, 15-10) win against Disciples of Christ.

 

In the junior class, the Disciples of Christ won the title in both genders with victories over Bayamon Military Academy in boys and Santa Teresita of Naranjito in the girls.

 

Beltran is also the General Secretary of the Puerto Rican Olympic Committee.
