NORCECA announces 2017 volleyball calendar

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, October 24, 2016 – The 2017 NORCECA Volleyball Calendar was officially announced on Monday.

The season includes both the senior Pan American Cups as well as the senior continental championships.

The calendar also features the Pan American Cups in both genders in the youth and junior categories and the second round of qualification tournaments for the FIVB World Championships in the ECVA and CAZOVA zones.

The XVI Women’s Pan American Cup will take place in Lima, Peru from June 15 to 26 while the XII Men’s Pan American Cup will be held in Canada from July 29 to August 6.

The Women’s Continental Championship will be played in Trinidad & Tobago from September 16 to 24 while the Men’s Championship will be held in United States from September 24 to October 2.

The last event of the year is the Central American Games in Nicaragua from December 3-17. The competition program includes volleyball in both genders for the seven countries of the region.
