National Course of VIS, Data Volley and Data Video is completed
SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, April 20, 2015 - The
Dominican Volleyball Federation and NORCECA/FIVB Regional
Development Centre, in collaboration with NORCECA Confederation,
has completed the National Course of Volleyball Information
System (VIS), Data Volley and Video Data with 28 participants
from different provinces of the country.
The three-day course was supervised by Yeivic Jimenez of
Venezuela assisted by Yanida Pascual and Bienvenido Mateo, both
members of the technology department of the Dominican Volleyball
Federation who are also part of the NORCECA VIS and Statistics
Commission.
The closing ceremony was attended by Cristobal Marte Hoffiz,
President of NORCECA, Nelson Ramirez, Director of the
Regional Development Center and Ramón García, President of the
Dominican Volleyball Federation.
Garcia expressed his satisfaction for the completion of this
important training course and reiterated his support for more
courses to be organized in the future.
Marte Hoffiz congratulated the Dominican Volleyball Federation
as well as the Development Center for the organization of the
course saying that is of great benefit for the Federation to
instruct their personnel and update them in the environment of
statistics and technology in which the whole world lives day
after day.
Jimenez thanked the opportunity to teach and contribute a bit to
the participants so that they can further develop their
knowledge and especially to work with discipline and passion.
Ramirez said that the doors of the Development Center are open
to continue providing new courses in the different areas that
are required. |
