National Referees Course concludes in Dominican Republic

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, May 13, 2019 - With 90 registered participants concluded the National Course for Referees, Scorekeepers and Line Judges organized by the NORCECA/FIVB Regional Development Center of Volleyball  in the Dominican Republic, with the support of the Dominican Volleyball Federation, the NORCECA Confederation and the Ministry of Sports.

Out of a total of 90 registered 80 approved the course that was held on 9, 10, 11 and 12 of this month of May in the premises of the Development Center.

This course was as instructors to José Ramón Perez Vento of Cuba, Roy Vélez of Puerto Rico, Salvador Bautista of Dominican Republic, all members of the Arbitration Commission of the NORCECA Volleyball Confederation, and Bienvenido Mateo, member of the Statistics Committee who was in charge of everything related to electronic sheet, and Dr. Víctor Figueroa, member of the Medical Commission of FIVB and NORCECA, also participated.

A very important fact of the indicated course is that 26 women approved and will be participating in the events organized by the Federation and its Associations.
