were already prepared, we knew that this game
was very important to be on the podium, we had
to stay focused all the time on the court and in
any way win the game and thank God we did it
3-0. The level of women's volleyball in Central
America has been rising, there is no longer an
easy game, Belize is a fierce team, strong and
with good defense”.
René Quintana, Nicaraguan coach: “The girls are
prepared, there are highly experienced players
who manage to get their claws out at key moments
and recover quickly from any situation. We will
see how we do tomorrow against El Salvador,
because whoever wins will secure a silver medal.
Let's hope that tomorrow the team plays as they
did in the first sets against Costa Rica, If
they do, it will be difficult for El Salvador to
beat us”.
