Jorge Mena, Head Coach of Nicaragua: “I am really satisfied,
the goal was to be among the medalists and now that we are
champions once again, it’s a reward to the team’s efforts.
My guy’s performance over exceeded our expectations, they
played at a high level”.
Albert Humes, Head Coach of Belize: “I had high expectations
from my team’s performance, they had trained hard to succeed
but you can see inexperience from our new players. At least
half of the team are new players to volleyball so we had to
train them all over and we could not focus on execution
during the match; the team is young and we are investing in
our future”.
