AFECAVOL COPA MAYOR FEMENINA
QUOTES
René Quintana, coach of Nicaragua: “This is one of the most evenly
matched Central American Senior Championships in recent years, we’ve
seen very close games, with countries like Panama finding their rhythm
and putting up good games against Honduras or Belize. I like that
because it will force us to prepare more, and other countries will
continue to grow. There are no small rivals here”.
Lolette Rodríguez, Nicaragua’s top attacker: “We knew it would be a
tough match; this team has a strong defense and doesn’t let an easy ball
drop. We tried to play our game and finish the match as quickly as
possible. Our coach told us that the important thing was to get the
victory, no matter how many sets, but we managed to win in three, and
that’s important”. |
