Norceca President Congratulate Puerto Rico BVB Programs

NORCECA President, Lic. Cristóbal Marte Hoffiz extended a warm congratulation to youth beach volleyball program of Puerto Rican National Volleyball Federation for their historical and outstanding participation in the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China.

“Congratulations to Puerto Rico for his great performance in Nanjing, I feel proud with this historical performance , one that is not only of Puerto Rico, but of all of Latin America and NORCECA "said Marte Hoffiz.

In the Youth Olympic Games that ended today in China, Puerto Rico finished in fifth place in men (Sergio Figueroa / Daniel 'Danny' Rivera) and ninth in women (Lina Bernier / Valeria Cajigas).

"The Fifth place of Figueroa / Rivera was the best position for any men team of NORCECA, while Bernier / Cajigas just above them and were the Canadian’s team(Mcnamara sister) finished second," pointed Marte Hoffiz.
