				TIJUANA, Mexico, March 28, 2015 – Authorities of the Baja 
				California Sports and Physical Culture Institute and the 
				FIVB-NORCECA Volleyball Development Center welcomed the 
				delegations of Argentina and Peru that will compete at the Age 
				Group 2015 Baja Cup. 
				
				  
				
				Baja California Sports Institute Director and FIVB Executive 
				Vice President, Saul Castro Verdugo welcomed the teams’ managers 
				and coaches.  
				
				  
				
				“We’ve hosted many international exchange events here, you know 
				all our technical staff members and we hope you enjoy your stay 
				here. Thank you so much for being here and sharing your 
				experience with us,” said Castro Verdugo. 
				
				  
				
				The delegations’ representatives at the reception were Peruvian 
				head coach and team manager, Enrique Briceno; as well as his 
				assistant, Edwin Jimenez, and physical trainer Stephanie Nunez. 
				
				  
				
				Members of the Argentinean delegation were team manager Vicente 
				Finelli, head coach Mauro Silvestre, assistant Gustavo Stricker, 
				physical trainer Rocio Flamini and statistician Omar Telillio. 
				
				  
				
				Coaches Estanislao Matías Vachino, Evelyn Carreras and Jose Luis 
				Martell represented the hosting delegation. 
				
				  
				
				“We expect to reach our goals as they have been working on and 
				we are very glad to participate in this tournament as we hold a 
				very important training camp”, said coach Briceño on behalf of 
				the Peruvian Delegation. 
				
				  
				
				“For us this is a very important training camp. We have just 
				arrived from Cuba after the Pan American Cup. We are very glad 
				here enjoying such a very good facility”, said Argentinean team 
				manager, Vicente Finelli. 
				
				  
				
				Both teams, Peru and Argentina will try to get the best from 
				this experience as they prepare for the FIVB Girls’ U18 World 
				Championship to be played in Peru. 
				
				  
				
				The Baja Cup will also be a preparation tournament for the teams 
				of Baja California that will compete at the Mexican National 
				Junior Olympic Championships. |
