Norceca recognizes the work done by volunteers at the Cordoba Arena

 

CORDOBA, Mexico, November 29, 2014 - A special recognition and a public congratulation for their work were given by Norceca President and FIVB First Executive Vice President, Cristobal Marte Hoffiz.

 

More than 194 technical and general volunteers at the Cordoba Arena have contributed to make possible a big success at the Volleyball Tournament in both genders.

 

“Thank you to all volunteers and all of you, who have made possible such a great success here in Cordoba during the male and female championships,” expressed Marte Hoffiz who was accompanied by Fatima del Angel Palacios, representative of the Local Organizing Committee of the Central American and Caribbean Games (COVER) in the City of Cordoba.

 

During the break between the second and fourth matches, all the volunteers joined  together on the Arena Cordoba court and received an applause by the public for their work during the games that have taken part from November 15th  thru the 30th.

 

“They haven’t received nothing in return, but have done a great job to contribute with the success of this event,” Marte Hoffiz remarked on behalf of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) as well as the Norceca and the South American Volleyball Confederation.

 

The children and teenagers were divided into 105 technical volunteers, 69 general volunteers and 20 assigned to the Main Operations Center (MOC). All of them posed for the picture on the court that has been the stage of matches played among 16 different teams from 10 different countries in both genders Men’s and Women’s.
