Games of Nanjing 2014, the Confederation informed that will keep
the same classification format to Buenos Aires 2018.
Beach Volleyball had a lot of acceptation by the fans at the
Olympic Park in China. The Norceca concluded with a podium after
the silver medal won by the Canadian sistes Megan and Nicole
McNamara.
“The process must be the same as 2013 and 2014,” said President

in 2018, just a little time before the Games.”
The cultural component is key for the success, and the
Confederation has supported a lot the work done in terms of
development also to promote beach volleyball among the new
generations.
“We showed it in Nanjing 2014 with Saint Lucia, for example, and
now we look forward that the other small countries have their
chance. They must work close with their Olympic Committees,”
Marte Hoffiz added.
During the preliminary cycle to Nanjing, ther were some
qualification dates and the winning couples at every stop in
both genders claimed their tickets to the Youth Olympic Games
and also there was a final repechage. “It is a fact that with a
very low resources, we can achieve very great results,” the
