Olympic Champion Félix Sánchez Supports

Volleyball at Asunción 2025

ASUNCIÓN, Paraguay, August 10, 2025.- Dominican double Olympic champion Félix Sánchez, one of the greatest legends in world athletics, arrived at the COP Arena to support volleyball at the II Junior Pan American Games Asunción 2025.

Sánchez, winner of two Olympic gold medals in the 400m hurdles (Athens 2004 and London 2012) and a member of the Technical Commission and the Athletes’ Commission of Panam Sports, took the opportunity to speak with the players and coaching staff of the Dominican Republic women’s national team, sharing motivating words and his experience as a high-performance athlete.

Women’s volleyball at the Junior Pan American Games runs from August 10 to 15, while the men’s tournament will take place from August 17 to 22 at the COP Arena in Asunción.
