The Drawing of Lots for the U19 and U21 World Championships 2025 to be

Participating teams for the U19 World Championships
In 2025, a record number of 24 teams per gender from all five
Continental Confederations, including the host nation(s), will battle it
out for the prestigious title of world champions in the age group
categories.
Since the African qualifier for the girls’ tournament featured only two
teams, falling short of the required minimum of four, an exception was
approved by the FIVB Board of Administration to allocate one
qualification place to the champion of the African girls’ qualifier to
ensure the principle of universality. The remaining two places were
awarded to the highest-ranked teams not yet qualified which, as per the
U19 Girls World Ranking, are Egypt (ranked #11) and Chile (ranked #20).
Consequently, the teams participating in the FIVB Boys’ and Girls’ U19
World Championships have been confirmed.
Meanwhile, the teams qualified for the U21 World Championships 2025 will
be announced next month.
