managed 13, of them four in blocking. Meanwhile, Cuba was
limited to 9 points for Greysi Fine and 8 for Claudia Hernández.

The captain of Peru, Karla Ortiz, said that "the difference was
that we entered very concentrated because it would be a super
difficult game. Cuba is a team that plays well and we enter more
safely and aggressively. Thank God we were given the victory. "
"We all fulfilled what we had to do, each one is characterized
by different elements and each contributed to the victory,"
added Ortiz.
Francisco Hervás, coach of Peru: "We played a very compact game,
very solid; Cuba was pushing hard in attack, very hard, but we
had a moment that made the difference in the first set with the
girls very concentrated. "
"We put a lot of pressure on our blocking and defense system,
that forced them to make the mistakes that got them out of the
game. That is something that we have been putting into practice
throughout the championship, the relationship of blocking and
defense and today we also improve the service.
