Group A of the XVIII Senior Women's Pan American Cup in Trujillo.

Coach of Peru, Francisco Hervás: Although the opponent did not
represent much level of difficulty, our job was to maintain the
rhythm of the game and that goal was reached. Today I had the
opportunity to play the whole team and they responded very well.
Coach of Guatemala, Aldana Pérez: The first match is always
difficult, but the girls have come to face that degree of
difficulty and today's learning is very important for the growth
process that we want.
Guatemala should recover quickly from today's defeat, to face
its next rival, the Dominican Republic. On the other hand, Peru
will fight to add its second triumph when it stars in the South
American classic against Argentina. |
