Piaget dethrones Bayamon Military Academy

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, November 13, 2018 - The Piaget School in Manatí with the Olympic Youth, Maria Gonzalez advanced to the semifinal of Senior Women to dethrone the past champion, Bayamón Military Academy.

The Manatí institution rallied after falling in the first set, 25-23, for the second set, Piaget made another come back after trailing 22-24, to prevail 26-24. The third episode was comfortable for Piaget, 15-5.

Piaget will play in the semifinal on Wednesday against the Adianez Guaynabo School, this last one beat ATS (25-20, 25-27, 15-13).

The other semifinal will face the classified number, Presby of Carolina is measured to Saint Francis of Carolina. Presby beat San Felipe de Arecibo (25-18, 26-24), while Saint Francis needed three sets to overcome the Disciples of Christ Academy where Allanis Navas plays (25-15, 18-25, 15-11).

In the other semi in Junior Women, Notre Dame of Caguas continues its unbeaten run in 2018 by defeating CMA (25-19, 17-25, 15-7). His opponent will be ABA de Arecibo who defeated Holy Rosary of Yauco (25-13, 25-12).
