SHREVEPORT, Louisiana, June 1,
2022 - Martyna Lukasik scored 17 points, all on
spikes, as Poland rallied to beat Canada 3-1
(20-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-20) in the Women's
Volleyball Nations League on Wednesday night.
Agnieszka Kakolewska added 14
points, including three blocks and two aces, and
Olivia Rozanski contributed 12 points in the win
with two blocks and one ace.
Canada's Alexa Gray led all
scorers in the match with 19 points, all via
spikes, and Kiera Van Ryk also finished in
double figures on the losing side with 14 points.
Poland led in blocks 9-7 and also
in aces 6-3 while Canada had 49 attacks against
46 for the winners. |
