President Medina congratulates Dominican Team

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, January 8, 2019 – The President of the Dominican Republic H.E. Danilo Medina once again celebrated an international victory achieved by the volleyball national team of the country.

Mr. Medina sent a letter of congratulations to Mr. Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, president of the Female Program of the Dominican Federation on the occasion of the triumph over Puerto Rico in the inaugural Volleyball Caribbean Series held in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

“Elated, I celebrate this first victory of our National Team,” says Mr. Medina. “Once again we feel proud of the quality of our Queens of the Caribbean in the games held at Roberto Clemente Coliseum of the neighbor island where Brayelin Martinez, Bethania de la Cruz and Prisilla Rivera shined as the most outstanding players.”

President Medina added: “I entrust you to transmit to all the members of the team my congratulations on behalf of the government and myself, accompanied by my wishes of more and bigger victories in 2019,”
