President of the CSV values the volleyball of the Games of
Barranquilla as positive
Barranquilla, August 1, 2018. The President of the Pan-American
Volleyball Union and the South American Volleyball Confederation
(CSV) Rafael Lloreda, considered positive and important for the
development of volleyball, the tournament of the XXIII Central
American and Caribbean Games Barranquilla 2018
"We have always worked very closely with Mr. Cristóbal Marte
Hoffiz, President of NORCECA and First Vice-President of the
FIVB. We have understood that there is a lot to do and we need
to work with the same intensity", said the Colombian Lloreda.
About the Barranquilla Games Lloreda said that "this is an
important space that has the pairs that accompany us today.
Today we have seen that the event progresses without any problem
with the satisfaction of providing a good show to the public
that has accompanied us. "
"We have been very careful, very demanding with the conditions
of the scenario because this requires great professionalism. We
propose that we wanted our volleyball events to be important and
to keep the level we have been maintaining", said the president
of the CSV.
Lloreda added that "today we can give athletes a scenario worthy
of any international competition."
To continue increasing the level of beach volleyball in the
region, Lloreda said that "we have spoken (with Mars) of
allowing exchanges between pairs of our continents. That is why
Colombia participated in the Norceca circuit and I hope that
Norceca's participants will participate in South America ".
"We have a lot to do, we are doing, we are on the right track,"
concluded Lloreda.
