SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, September 6,
2021 - Tuesday will be a special day for Kevin
López, a member of the Puerto Rico Volleyball
								Team.

It is the day when he expect to meet his
Dominican family from his father's side,
								including his grandfather.

The youngest son of Inginio López Lizardo and
Luz Fontanez is excited about the magical moment
that he has dreamed of for years and that will
								finally come true.

“I am the youngest of five siblings and we live
in Caguas,” said López, who was born in Aguas
Buenas, a municipality near his current
								residence.

"It is the first time that I come to the
Dominican Republic despite the short distance,"
said López, who pointed out that his father
works in a Mexican restaurant and his mother
takes care of things at home. "I spoke with my
father and he has made the contact to meet my
								relatives."

"Hopefully my grandfather will be encouraged to
make the trip from Sabana de la Mar to meet me,"
said the 26-year-old, whose father migrated to
Puerto Rico more than three decades ago.

"There is always a first time and the truth is
that I am eager to meet and give them a hug,"
								said López. |
