Puerto Rico improves record to 2-0 at NORCECA U18

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, September 3, 2016 - Puerto Rico remained unbeaten by beating Costa Rica 3-0 (25-10, 25-3, 27-25) in Pool A action of the NORCECA U-18 Championship.

The host team made only 4 unforced errors in the two first sets, besides dominating the Costa Ricans in all the game fundaments.

"We had a good performance in the first two sets, but I used the reserve in the third set , did not work ," said the coach of Puerto Rico, Ariel Ortiz.

"In the third set we could not close for lack of experience at this level," said Andres Lopez, coach of Costa Rica.
