BONAIRE, July 9, 2021 - Raymundo Saleh, founder
of volleyball on Bonaire in 1961 and actual
President of Bovobo passed away yesterday 8th
July 2021.
Vice President Gisette Emer said “we had the
honour to work with Raymundo Saleh after he was
nominated and elected as President in 2017 due
to his great achievements for the island of
Bonaire in function and as a volunteer. We are
very grateful for the time we had with him and
thankful to all his wise teachings”.
Raymundo Saleh has served the community as
Governor, Commissioner, Council Member, and
volunteered in different organizations. He was
the president of the Bonaire Volleyball
Association up till his passing.
