Sainz presents satisfactory reports about Games in Nicaragua
SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, October 13. 2017 – An
inspection visit to verify the organization process of the
volleyball and beach volleyball competition of the Central
American Games to take place in Nicaragua next December was
presented to NORCECA Confederation with satisfactory evaluation.
Ariel Sainz, NORCECA delegate, visited Managua to perform a
general evaluation of the building process of the facility for
both disciplines as well as some other aspects of the
organization.
He was accompanied by Mrs. Bertha Cuadra, president of the
Nicaraguan Federation, Rene Quintana, technical director for
volleyball, Judith Sandino, member of the NF and representatives
of the organizing committee.
Sainz made several recommendations on different topics to the
organizers regarding the Multi-Sport Alexis Arguello Pavilion
and the IND Complex, permanent site of the national teams of
Nicaragua, to be used as competition venue and training
facilities, respectively, for the Games.
The NORCECA delegate also visited the proposed area for the
beach volleyball competition where two non-permanent courts for
the competitions were recommended besides two warm-up courts.
The objectives of the inspection visit included to verify the
chronogram of the constructions, the logistics aspects, analysis
of competitions regulations and the technical manuals before its
presentation to the National Olympic Committees.
