Security and law enforcement, a top prority for Central American
Games in Cordoba
CORDOBA, Mexico, November 13, 2014 - With just a few hours away
from the beginning of the Central American and Caribbean Games,
the Law Enforcement agencies work hard for the success of the
volleyball tournament in Cordoba.
The Vice Secretary of Public Security of the State of Veracruz,
Federico Rivas, met Norceca President and FIVB First Excecutive
Vice President, Cristobal Marte Hoffiz during the Preliminary
Inquiries at the Fortin de las Flores Hotel.
“We held a coordination meeting with all the law enforcement
agencies and even with the Mexican Armed Forces, like Army and
Navy to work closely,” said Rivas Valdes.
“We have also worked with the Civil Protection unit analyzing
every aspect around the event, such as the sport competition,
victuals distribution and event the cultural and recreational
activities,” He added.
“We have a very close coordinarion in time in Cordoba, we had
the first teams by the middle of this week but on Satudray we
will have the complete delegations and are ready.” |
