Seminars and workshops take part in Veracruz
CORDOBA, Veracruz, Mexico, October 26, 2014 - A series of
seminars and workshops given by the Norceca Volleyball
Commission have taken part in the City of Cordoba, that will
host the Volleyball Competition during the Central American and
Caribbean Games of Veracruz 2014.
Representatives of the VIS, Referees and Press Commissions
assigned to the Control Committee held meetings with their
counterparties of the Games Local Organizing Committee of
Cordoba, to start with the training sessions held at “El
Mexicano Gym.”
Part of the activities were the presentations of Communication
Strategies, Press releases and information distribution formats
as well as the photo and image standards managed by the
respective commissions during international events.
Also there was a VIS Course for statisticians and volunteers
that will work describing the actions and codifying every play
during matches. Along with that a Clinical Practice took part
following the teams presentation, National Anthems protocols and
the coordination with the moppers, quickies and ball retrievers.
The seminars and drills were developed on Friday, Saturday and
Sunday. The Control Committee officers assigned to Volleyball
will return to Cordoba on November 8 prior to the beginning of
the Games, whose opening ceremony is scheduled on November 14 in
the Port of Veracruz. |
