Control Committee held working session in Tijuana

TIJUANA, Mexico, September 14, 2011 – The Control Comité of the 2011 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit held its first meeting ahead of the start of the competition to be held at Playas de Rosarito.

During the first meeting, the members discussed the issues related with transportation, lodging and the logistics of the tournament that begins next Friday.

The preliminary enquiry will be carried out on Thursday with all the participating teams looking to add points in the qualification process to the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Also during the week, the International Beach Volleyball Coaches Course will be held under the supervision of Brazilian instructor Magda Falcao where coaches from around 15 countries will be in attendance.

In preparation for the tournament, several participating duos have been training during the week at the High Performance Center located in Tijuana. The competition will take place during the weekend at Hotel Rosarito Beach.
