Cuban Keibel Gutierrez the MVP of the Men’s NORCECA Championship
MAYAGÜEZ, Puerto Rico, September 3, 2011. – Cuban Keibel
Gutierrez was elected the Most Valuable Player MVP of the Men’s
Continental NORCECEA Championship taking his team to the victory
on Saturday night.
Young Keibel Gutierrez was elected the MVP as he was awarded
with three individual titles: Best libero, Best receiver and
Best digger.
During the closing ceremony other awards were handed out at
“Palacio de los Deportes” in Mayagüez, for their individual
performance:
Wilfredo Leon of Cuba received the awards for Best spiker and
Best Scorer. And also from Cuba, Fernando Hernandez was the Best
server.
From United States, David Lee was the Best blocker and from
Canada, Dustin Schneider the Best setter.
The “Jim Coleman Award” was received by Cuban Orlando Samuels,
as the best coach. |
