The team coached by Choel Yong Kim kept its style and dominance
to secure the win even though Mexico had a few good moments
specially in the first and second sets.

“Peru is a very strong team, well prepared and more experienced.
Anyway we went out to the court and did our best, and to try to
defend despite their height”, said mexican captain Yazmin
Hernández.
“We faced a very strong, high quality team, that plays a style
very complicated for us, the are professional players while we
have local leagues players, but our main goal is to keep on
learning on the court”, explained mexican coach Alfredo Bernal.
“There are no small teams, we take every match seriously, Mexico
is a team with very young players, but if they work correctly
they can be a great team”, stated Chihuan.
“We hve played against Mexico in previous times, in Pan American
Cups, for example, and it is a team that plays hard”, said Edwin
Jimenez, assitant coach of Peru.
