24 Participants in Middle Player Seminar in St Lucia
Castries, St Lucia, September 24, 2012 – A total of 24
participants has been registered for the International Middle
Player Seminar that began on Monday in Castries, St Lucia.
The activity opened in the presence of the official authorities
of St Lucia which included the representative of the Ministry of
Sport, Isabelle Marquis and Brian Louisy and Florian Combie,
president and vice-president respectively of the St Lucia
Volleyball Association.
The event is coordinated by the Regional Development Centre in
Dominican Republic, which was represented by its assistant
director Yoana Mota.
The seminar forms part of the program of the dynamic development
centre in Dominican Republic and it is supported by NORCECA
Confederation as part of its development plan.
The Seminar runs until September 27 and the program includes
theoretical and practical sessions under the direction of FIVB
instructor Dusan Jarotta.
The participants come from both the CAZOVA and ECVA zones of the
Caribbean region and the group is formed by people from Anguilla,
Antigua & Barbuda, British Virgin Islands, Dominica, French St
Martin, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and
Grenadines, Suriname and Trinidad & Tobago. |
