Seven countries confirmed for U19 Pan Am Cup

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, April 15, 2019- Seven countries have been confirmed as participants in the U19 Boys’ Pan American Volleyball Cup to take place in Santo Domingo from April 24 to 29 at Ricardo Arias Pavilion in Santo Domingo.

Nelson Ramirez, general director of the competition, made the announcement following a meeting of the organizing committee chaired by its president Dr. Milton Ray Guevara with Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, president of NORCECA Confederation, and Ramon Garcia, president of the Dominican Federation, among the attendees.

Chile, Cuba, Guatemala, México, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico and the host Dominican Republic are the registered countries, said Ramirez.

Ramirez said that several meetings with the different working commissions have taken place and the organizational process is advancing as planned.

The schedule foresees three matches a day –starting at 15:00, 17:00 and 19:00- with the Dominican Republic always playing in the last contest.
