Sixty-five participants in Level III National Course

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, March 10, 2018 – Sixty-five coaches hailing from all over the Dominican Republic are participating in the National Level III Course organized by the Dominican Federation in collaboration with the NORCECA/FIVB Regional Development Center in Santo Domingo.

Jorge Azair, instructor of the course and technical director of the Mexican national teams, remarked on the importance of the capacitation for the actors and the much needed perseverance to reach the optimal level He is assisted by Wilson Sanchez an assistant coach of the female Dominican program.

Several authorities, besides Azair, addressed the participants during the opening ceremony, including Ramon Garcia, president of the federation, Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, president of NORCECA, Antonio Acosta, general secretary of the Dominican Olympic Committee, Luciano Ramirez, representing the Sports Ministry, and Nelson Ramírez, director of the center.

The course runs until Sunday at 14:00 when the presentation of certificates will take place.
