SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, March 30,
2022 - The Press and Media Commission held its
virtual meeting this Tuesday night in which the
need to increase the presence on social networks
during this year's competitions was analyzed
both in volleyball as in beach volleyball.
The meeting in which the president of NORCECA,
Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, participated, was headed
by Carolina Rivas and Roosevelt Comarazamy.
Yoshira Cruz, who manages the social networks of
the confederation, presented a very complete
report of the activities on the different
platforms during the past year that included
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tik Tok.
Rivas presented a work guide for press delegates
and photographers to be implemented in the
competitions of the year, taking into account
the new circumstances.
Comarazamy reported on last year's competitions
as well as commenting on the ideal structure of
match reporting and the need to update the list
of national federations' press or public
relations officers.
Jackie Skender commented on the current travel
conditions to the different competitions and the
restrictions that still exist around the
Covid-19 pandemic.
The photographers Victor Calvo, Ernesto Beltré
and Emir Alfaro had an active participation
commenting on the work to be carried out by
those reporters appointed in that area in the
competitions.
The president of NORCECA reported that ten
volleyball competitions are scheduled for 2022
in addition to those to take place in the
different zones.
Mushtaque Mohammed and Glenn Quinlan, presidents
of CAZOVA and ECVA were present representing
their respective zones. |
